Who we are

Inspired from within, best describes the creation and development of Succeedin. An idea that has the potential to ‘Change The Game’ on how Primary  schools plan PE..

Succeedin provides and delivers quality, interactive, pre-set PE lesson plans for KS1 and KS2, delivered across eight sports from a selection of fourteen. All lessons meet the PE curriculum requirements and also aim to meet schools’ individual needs. The lesson plans have been developed and created by leading  individuals in the field of PE, a team fundamental to the core of the company’s management team.

Our vision is to give teachers time to teach, instead of spending endless hours planning using the traditional methods of books and folders.

With the government sourced PE and Sport Premium funding being extended, its design is to assist primary schools improve the quality of PE and sport activities they offer their pupils

Our experience shows that more than half of Primary Schools are unable to meet all of the government objectives for the use of the Sports Premium and that their approach to PE could therefore be improved; whether this is in the delivery of a quality PE curriculum, or in the proof and measurability of its impact. The quality of the PE within a school can affect the grade awarded from an Ofsted inspection

We have devised a simple guidance form (Download Here) which you can you use to understand how effectively your school is using the PE Sports Premium fund, identifying any gaps and creating a plan to address them. Review each of the items in the list and define your answer.

In the list we have highlighted the areas where the Succeedin platform can help you address challenges. To find out more contact the team on intheknow@succeedin.co.uk or call the sales office on 0845 467 7766 to arrange a demonstration  to see how the Succeedin platform can support your activities.

Here is a form for you to Download and complete.

Our Journey

The Challenge

In June 2014 whilst planning a netball lesson, David, Founder of Succeedin realised that there must be a better way of building intuitive lesson plans rather than having to write copious amount of words; something that a PE Specialist could easily use. It was at this point that he recognised the need for an application/website that would allow someone to build curriculum based lesson plans for the classroom for all sports.

This idea is backed up by the following;

  • Primary schools only have P.E. Managers that spend 40hrs a week in the classroom.
  • Primary school teachers are given 6hrs of P.E. training during their 3year degree and 1 year teacher training.
  • Planning from previous years is either filed away in a cupboard using folders or kept on a hard drive where they are only accessible.
  • Primary school lesson plans are 9/10 word based documents with no or very little visual content.
  • Teachers have a fear of P.E. lesson plans as they are never easy to understand.

It is our belief that we are uniquely qualified to succeed as there is no other company that offers such a simple but yet affective product to schools.

Having spoken with many P.E. managers and industry based employees, all have comeback with positive feedback and this will be supported by our product questionnaire asking teachers and coaches alike to complete to support our unique selling point.

The Solution – Inspired from within

With this in mind an experienced professional team has been formed with the required extensive knowledge and capabilities in Marketing, Sales, Design and IT. The vision shared by all parties involved is that Succeedin has the potential to deliver a product that fits the needs of all primary schools in the UK.

Teaching P.E. in a primary school comes with the ‘Fear factor’ it is our aim to deliver something simplistic but with real value to the user.

Succeedin can change the way teachers view planning

The program will change the way teachers view planning and allow them to receive the following items:

Pre-planned curriculum based lessons

  • Pre-planned curriculum based lessons for all games related sports.
  • Lesson plans which support strong progress over time – brilliant for your students and a key performance indicator for Ofsted.
  • Visual diagrams that support the lesson content.
  • Video footage that supports the lessons skill elements.
  • An attainment chart that monitors the development and well-being of each child.
